Convicting Sermon on Heart Matters

"Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!"

Matt 6:21-22

Whatever your treasure is, wherever your heart is, wherever your affections are, leads to how you view the world -- where your mind is, how you think, how you see the world around you. So if your affections are on earthly things, then your mind will justify a life that focuses on those things. Idolatry will lead to pride, which will lead to the hardening of your heart and the death of spiritual things in your life. And what happens in that moment, is that God will ceases to be an all-knowing sovereign God who we say, "Let me see your will, let me do your will." and instead becomes our waiter who fetches us what we want.

Ashley and Elvis are Engaged!

My first "official" engagement shoot. Ashley's a classmate of mine and fellow sister in Christ. She has been a believer for a little over a year, and her thirst to know God more and enjoy His word is both encouraging and motivating to me. It's been really exciting to hear of their journey toward a biblical, God-centered marriage. Also, super easy and fun to shoot! =)

JULIA AND WOUTER!

Julia and Wouter are one of the most awesome couples I know. Both are so Godly and are models of true biblical manhood and womanhood. They've encouraged me so much in my walk with the Lord and have spurred me on in waiting patiently for His perfect timing for my future.

They give me hope. :)

One of my favorite things to do when traveling is taking pictures! Although it's really difficult to get a good, clear picture in Beijing, there are those freak days where God clears the air to allow me the joy of capturing His beauty. :)
